Our team at Spruson & Ferguson is dedicated to offering top-tier patent and trademark services, and we are currently seeking a motivated and driven Trade Mark Renewals Assistant to join our Sydney or Brisbane office on a full-time, permanent basis.As a Trade Mark Renewals Assistant, you will report to and work closely with the Trade Mark Practice Group Leader and wider trade marks group to provide crucial administrative and data entry support for trade mark renewals.About the RoleReview and action reminders generated by our internal database related to trade mark renewalsPrepare cost estimates for trade mark renewalsProcess and respond to client emails/letters regarding trade mark renewalsDraft and send internal and external emails/letters to clarify details relating to renewalsGenerate invoices for trade mark renewals and send to clientsUpdate and maintain client trade mark portfolios and create tailored reports/schedulesCommunicate with clients about renewal deadlines and required formal documentsWork with overseas agents (including our international offices) to manage renewal formalities and instruct agents on proceeding with renewalsUpdate client information, including changes of name and address, in line with renewal instructionsInput registered trade marks into the company database as takeoversAssist in updating instructors for registered trade marksPerform other administrative tasks as required by Spruson & FergusonAbout YouIP experience / background preferredExperience working in a busy and deadline driven environmentHigh level of attention to detailEnthusiastic team player who works well with othersAbout Spruson & FergusonSpruson & Ferguson is one of the leading intellectual property (IP) service firms operating in the Asia-Pacific region.
