This is more than just a jobits a chance to be part of something truly transformative, where every task you tackle helps spark dialogue, inspire change, and empower communities across the country.What Youll Do:Taping Weeks (Every Other Week): Commit to 20 hours/week, mostly remote but including being onsite in Northern Virginia every other Wednesday from 12:003:00 PM (3 hours) for tapings which are done remotely at the house of the host of the show. Youll help set the stageliterallyfor powerful discussions that resonate far and wide.Non-Taping Weeks (Every Other Week): Work remotely 10 hours/week.Weekly Responsibilities (Every week):Video Review: Spend ~1 hour every Thursday morning reviewing our episodes to make sure they are polished.Caption Creation: Dedicate ~2 hours every Thursday evening to crafting captions that make our content accessible to all.Booking interviews and pitching stories: Help us secure guests and help find stories for our show.Video Editing: Use Adobe Premiere on an as-needed basis.Must-Have Skills:Setting up lights, mics and cameras.Booking interviews.Pitching stories.Must live in Northern Virginia or have reliable transportation to be onsite for tapings every other Wednesday from 12:003:00 PM.Ready to commit to our alternating schedule: 20 hours/week during taping weeks, 10 hours/week during non-taping weeks.$18/hour for your talent and dedication.Flexible part-time hours.If youre a proactive, skilled team player with a passion for news and a love for media production, this is your shot.
