Track Manager Role DescriptionReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this permanent full-time position is responsible for the ongoing management and supervision of appointed track staff, as well as the maintenance and improvement of the racing and training facilities.Duties and responsibilities include:Preparing and maintaining racecourse and training facilities in line with Racing NSW Industry StandardsDevelop, plan, and report trackwork and maintenance programsManagement and training of trackwork and grounds staffEffective communication and relationships with stakeholdersMaintaining and assisting in developing compliant WHS practices and proceduresMachine and equipment operation and maintenanceMaintenance and servicing of irrigation and water supply systemsCo-develop and be responsible for assigned budgetHold appropriate accreditation in horticulture or greenkeepingContinue up-to-date knowledge in the maintenance of all track surfaces, herbicides, and fertilizersProven team leader with effective communication skillsMaintain accreditation in Smart Train AQF3 chemical application or an equivalent accreditationA sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge of Toro Irrigation systems would be an advantageCurrent First Aid Certificate or ability to obtainA current C Class drivers licenceEssential: Valid Class C Driver''s Licence.The Scone Race Club is an equal opportunity employer that offers a flexible and rewarding work environment.Applications close Friday, 28th March 2025. #J-18808-Ljbffr
