Start your journey in family mediation today!About the RoleAs a member of the Family Relationship Centre within the Clinical & Social Services Team, the Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) in Training will undertake the responsibilities of a Family Dispute Resolution Advisor (FDRA) while completing the necessary accreditation required to transition to a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP).This role integrates the provision of information, support, referral, intake, and risk assessment services with structured professional development in mediation and dispute resolution practices. It is specifically designed to support the trainees progression towards full accreditation under the Family Law Act within a two-year timeframe.A dedicated Professional Development Plan, incorporating the course of studys official study plan and relevant Key Performance Criteria, will guide and monitor the successful completion of the required course of study. Such progress will also feature in the HR 029 Line Management discussions. The course of study will be fully funded by CatholicCare Central Queensland.Upon accreditation, the incumbent will, subject to performance, be eligible for direct appointment to a vacant FDRP role where available.
