You will be responsible for advising clients on best practices, designing solutions, and leading technical implementation to enhance data security, compliance, and governance.Beyond implementation, you will lead the presales process, including scoping engagements, developing proposals, and presenting technical solutions to clients. You will also provide technical and people leadership for team members working on Data Security-focused projects, primarily Technical Consultants, but also others as required. You should be comfortable in dynamic, high-pressure environments, staying focused and delivering results even when priorities shift.Role Requirements:Experience & Expertise 5+ years experience designing, implementing, and optimising Microsoft Purview solutions across enterprise environments. 3+ years experience in presales activities, including leading client engagements, developing proposals, and presenting technical solutions.Technical Proficiency Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (MIP), Data Governance, and Insider Risk Management. Expert-level proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and advanced KQL skills for data queries. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Sentinel.Security & Compliance Extensive knowledge of data security principles, Zero Trust architecture, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001). Ability to design, implement, and optimise security controls to align with industry best practices.Presales & Solution Design Extensive experience leading presales engagements, including scoping, developing proposals, and delivering high-impact technical presentations. Demonstrated ability to drive solution design, articulate business value, and influence stakeholders at all levels.Project Delivery & Implementation Extensive hands-on experience delivering end-to-end Microsoft Purview implementations, including data discovery, classification, encryption, and governance. Ability to lead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with best practices.Leadership & Knowledge Sharing Recognised subject matter expert (SME) in Microsoft Data Security, providing mentorship, training, and technical leadership to Technical Consultants and other team members. Comfortable guiding teams through complex security challenges and driving technical excellence.Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to break down complex security concepts into clear, actionable insights.
