Exciting opportunity within an ever-expanding hospital currently under development in the heart of Heidelberg and near train and bus services.We have opportunities for Housekeepers to join us on a casual basis across the following shift types: morning / evenings / afternoons and weekend rotating roster. Positions to fit in with school hours available.About the roleJoining our team as a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:Highest standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres.Ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas.Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times.Adhere to all infection control guidelines and principles.About YouPrior experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is desirable.Availability to work morning / afternoon / evening and weekend shifts required.Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure and independently as required.Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.Proven experience with hazard identification.Understanding of hygiene principles.Overall, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic, characterized by punctuality, integrity, respect for others, and a dedication to professional practice.Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $26.64 + 20% casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.Whats in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
