We are seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Manager to join one of Australia''s most trusted and well-known brands in a supportive and forward-thinking team in a self-insured setting.This role will manage the injury management function across Australia and New Zealand. There is a focus on early intervention strategies for injured employees to prevent the escalation of minor physical injuries.The roleManage the workers compensation function across all jurisdictions (self-insured in South Australia, via insurers in other states and under a government scheme in New Zealand)Ensure the effective implementation of processes to achieve early and effective return to work outcomes for injured workersCommunicate effectively the return-to-work restrictions to site supervisors in a manner ensuring all human capital requirements can be managed by the business, including the injured worker.Manage the internal dispute resolution process and attend the South Australian Employment TribunalManage the early intervention programAbout youAt least 3-5 years experience performing end-to-end claims management with a Self-Insurer under the South Australian Return to Work ActAlternatively, at least 5 years experience performing end-to-end claims management with a Scheme InsurerGeneral knowledge of the application of Workers Compensation requirements of other jurisdictionsExperience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder prioritiesCurrent drivers license and ability to undertake some planned travelAbility to manage multiple priorities to meet agreed deadlines and a high attention to detailSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherIndustriesInsurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
