Director - Australia at Amida Recruitment LtdEstablished national market leading Tier 2 multi sector ContractorExtensive project pipeline in Water sector both construction and remedial $10m+Excellent career progression and cultureGreat opportunity to join a Tier 2 contractor with excellent presence in the water sector with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects.A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager Water to join their growing business in Sydney.They work across new build, refurbishments, remediation, upgrades etc. on water projects and having experience with Sydney Water and NSW Water would be great. You will be running projects from $10m and potentially up to $50m and helping to grow the sector for the business and be involved in tendering etc. You will need to have delivered water projects prior for a contractor ideally $10m+.As Senior Project Manager, you will need to have strong commercial acumen, contracts management, design management, OHS, programming / planning experience as well as running meetings with consultants and subcontractors to provide a high quality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.Ideally will have experience in structural and mechanical piping in a water or water treatment environment from the contractors perspective.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Design comprehensive project programmes and communicate to teamProject delivery from inception through to completionEnsure construction programmes are followed & deliver on project quality to programmeIdentify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when requiredManage project expenditure and cash flowManagement and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projectsDesign managementManage subcontractors on siteManage and maintain HSEQ requirements on the projectProduce progress reportsDeliver and manage client expectationsQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similarMinimum 7 to 15 years+ experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 or 3 backgroundProven leadership ability in building and motivating teams to deliver high quality projectsPrevious experience delivering greenfield projectsDetailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standardsStrong planning and project financial reporting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suiteConstruction Safety Induction (white) cardThis is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click Apply to submit your resume or contact Jacob Montague -Day on Jacob.montague-day@amida-recruit.com or Sam Barnes on sam.barnes@amida-recruit.com for further information.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Project ManagementIndustries: Civil Engineering, Fabricated Metal Products, and Air, Water, and Waste Program Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
