Join us in driving impactful change as part of an organisation that thrives on innovation and collaboration.About the Role:We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to lead and enhance environmental management across TFIs South Australian operations. Reporting to the General Manager of Environment & Sustainability, the role ensures compliance with environmental regulations and drives innovative strategies to minimise impact on the receiving environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead environmental initiatives in water, wastewater, air quality, waste management, and energy efficiency.Ensure regulatory compliance by conducting audits, managing reporting, and maintaining relationships with government authorities.Develop and maintain environmental monitoring systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement.Support operational and plant management teams by providing technical expertise, coaching, and mentoring on best environmental practices.Drive programs that align with TFIs strategic objectives, including biogas capture, water recycling, and emissions reduction.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed environmental principles into daily operations and foster community trust.Key Requirements:Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in environmental management, with expertise in audits, compliance, and sustainability programs.Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices, including EPA-licensed facilities.Exceptional skills in project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement.Proven ability to coach and lead teams, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.Whilst not essential, previous experience in the red meat sector or FMCG industries is highly desirable.Champion TFIs environmental policies and contribute to compliance with ISO 14001 standards.Manage risk and deliver outcomes aligned with environmental monitoring and reporting frameworks.Foster innovation by implementing strategies to reduce emissions, improve water efficiency, and enhance waste management systems.Build strong regulatory and community relationships to advance TFIs reputation as an industry leader in sustainability.Why Join Us?Be part of a global leader in food production, known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation.Competitive remuneration package reflecting your skills and expertise.Opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative, values-driven culture.Make a tangible impact on the environment by contributing to industry-leading sustainability projects.Location & Travel:This role is responsible for TFIs South Australian operations and can be based at TFI headquarters in Rose Park or Murray Bridge with regular travel between Rose Park and the Lobethal and 2x Murray Bridge processing sites.For all enquiries and further information, including a comprehensive position briefing pack, contact Ben Smith at Keystone Search on 0460 941 587 or via email at ben@keystonesearch.com.au.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionScience, Strategy/Planning, and EngineeringEnvironmental Services, Meat Products Manufacturing, and Environmental Quality Programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
