We are currently seeking to appoint a Performance Analyst & Data Scientist to maintain innovative and integrated performance analysis servicing to Cricket Victoria''s state teams, and both the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades WBBL and BBL teams.Key Responsibilities include:Provide performance analysis across Cricket Victoria''s elite teamsProvide individual player analysis for Cricket Victoria elite teams, Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades throughout the season, as requested by coachesActively facilitate ongoing education of players and coaches, and support them in understanding and optimising performance analysis related outcomesActively engage with relevant SSSM program support staff to provide information and support to further enhance player preparationHelp coordinate, implement and develop cricket specific performance analysis technologyMaintain Fairplay database including the maintenance of updated player information and relevant match footageUtilise match day statistics to update database and AMSProvide training and education and support for coaching staff to facilitate optimised use of Fairplay and other relevant systemsIn conjunction with coaching staff, provide analysis that informs and helps shape team strategy and match preparationPrepare and present player performance information to support the selection of CV professional & elite representative teamsAbout YouThe successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as working autonomously with a high level of independence and initiative. They will have strong communication skills to clearly present and simplify complex data, analytics and concepts to a range of stakeholders, including coaches and athletes.
