The team brings a wealth of knowledge, including modern shale reservoir assessment, as well as cutting-edge drilling and completion design technology.Position overviewThis role will be located in either Brisbane or Sydney Australia and will be the focal point of contact between Tamboran Resources Corporation (Tamboran) and its various operating and non-operating joint ventures (JVs) to support business growth. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will steward the relationship between Tamboran and its JV partners on matters ranging from corporate governance, government regulations, venture strategy, contract management, and you will provide performance updates to executive management. In addition to relationship management, this role will be responsible for the commercial aspects of operated and non-operated ventures, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the commercial operation of joint venture projects is maximizing value for Tamboran. In this context, it is expected that you will communicate and coordinate with the various operators on a frequent basis.Description of Service and Expectations:Oversee and/or conduct analysis on joint ventures (JVs), prepare materials for internal approvals, and manage review and alignment processes;Monitor, manage, and coordinate information requests and communications between Tamboran and its various JVs;Brief company directors for Board meetings and key decisions, and prepare support materials as needed;Understand all interfaces (e.g., services, support agreements) between Tamboran and JVs, and intervene where necessary to ensure value creation;Develop and drive the implementation of a coordinated influencing plan in line with the companys approved strategy and business plan;Proactively identify opportunities for performance improvement or synergy capture, develop associated business cases, and negotiate with JVs / partners to adopt;Support the Tamboran JV Asset Management Team;Develop and maintain the JVs risk registries, including company and JV specific risks;Work with internal stakeholders to develop and update the Tamboran strategy and business plan for existing and new JVs, assessing continued strategic fit within the portfolio of assets;Monitor and ensure Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) compliance and collaborate with the Tenures, Legal, and Contracts groups regarding new operating agreements;Lead and/or support material commercial and joint venture negotiations;Develop and evaluate business cases for strategic initiatives, joint ventures, and new business;Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis of Joint Venture matters; andPerform other relevant services as requested.Preferred Minimum Candidate Requirements:Bachelor''s Degree or tertiary equivalent in Geology / Engineering or Business / Legal disciplines.10+ years of direct experience managing multiple joint ventures for operated and non-operated assets. Experience in resources industry is preferred.Demonstrated ability to deliver desired results within established timeframes and budgets.Expertise in navigating and influencing internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure successful business outcomes.Experience, comfort, and familiarity with applicable regulatory rules and regulations to ensure the actions of Tamboran and its JVs are compliant.
