Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our Rubber Injection Molding manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality production standards. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with various manufacturing techniques and technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in bringing new products into production and assuring all existing products continue to meet Chardon Custom Polymers Quality and Engineering standards.ResponsibilitiesDesign/implement production fixtures to assist production floor employees (molding, wire brushing, etc.)Develop and maintain acceptable tolerance limits for molded items.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement.Create and maintain detailed schematics and documentation for manufacturing systems.Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.Provide technical support for industrial equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues.Practice and sustain ISO 9001 procedures and policies.Initiate continuous improvements.SkillsProficient in mechanical engineering principles with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.Expertise in process engineering practices to enhance production efficiency.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex schematics and technical documents.Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge through work experience.A good understanding of SolidWorks or CAD, at a minimum.Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.Experience in troubleshooting machine problems.Experience in the Rubber Industry a huge plus!Join us in shaping the future of Rubber Injection Molding manufacturing through innovation and excellence!Job Type: Full-time401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceHow to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter to Amy Price at aprice@chardoncp.comSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Plastics Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
