We are seeking qualified Lawyers with a strong drive for success to join our General Counsel team.As a Lawyer, in our ATO Corporate business area, you will be responsible for the effective management of legal cases across teams. Youll provide authoritative legal advice associated with litigation and non-tax legislation. Youll handle complex, escalated cases and leverage General Counsel resources to achieve optimal outcomes.Your role will involve enhancing the legal capability of our in-house general legal practice, sharing your expertise, and actively contributing to the professional development of less experienced colleagues. Youll engage with external partners to represent the ATO at external forums, including court and tribunal appearances.These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD.
