Our People deserve to feel empowered and supported as they pursue their professional goals, learn new skills, and achieve meaningful milestones in their work.Job DescriptionJoin a highly engaged, professional, and collaborative team for delivering high impact outcomes to our consumer groups with flexible, family-friendly working arrangements including a hybrid approach.Program OverviewThe Mens Behaviour Change Program sits within the Mental Health, Family Violence, Community & Families directorate at DPV Health.The Program aims to:Provide evidence-based group-based change management programs to ensure the safety of women and children.Provide direct support to women and children relative to the men in the group.Provide short to medium term case management.About the opportunityThis Team Leader role is a leadership position that provides operational and clinical management, leadership, support, and delivery of the intake, assessment, family safety contact, group, and case management. You will support and enable your direct reports to deliver a high-quality service for their consumers to reach their individual potential.The Team Leader will lead by example to provide day-to-day coaching, clinical leadership, support, and direction to foster and develop a strong, engaged, and effective team. The position will require supporting delivery of exceptional evidence-based, cost-effective, innovative, and efficient care to DPV Health consumers in line with the organizational, strategic and program business plans.Desired Skills and ExperienceBring your great, everyday!To be successful for this role, you will require:Tertiary qualifications in Social Work.Demonstrated experience in providing clinical and line supervision to staff within the community sector in a family violence related area.Well-developed skills in providing advice and direction for staff and students on complex matters including crisis intervention, comprehensive risk assessments and safety planning.Demonstrated experience in recruitment and workforce retention strategies, performance management and professional development strategies.Ability to model positive, flexible, and dynamic skills to support and develop a team of workers to inspire vision, direction, and professional conduct.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster harmonious and collaborative relationships internally and with external stakeholders.Demonstrated resilience and aptitude in working with complex matters, sound judgement and ability to prioritise competing demands.The fine printSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), and hold a valid WWCC.Full driver license and travel between sites required.Our Talent ExperienceWe kindly request you include your resume along with a covering letter, addressed to Deb Carrin, detailing your motivation for joining DPV Health and highlighting the qualities you bring to this position, as well as providing a brief statement addressing the Key Selection Criteria outlined in the position description.We will be actively reviewing applications as they are received, so please dont delay.To view the Position Description, please click hereMake your next move, a great one!
