Our success is driven by hiring outstanding people and accepting nothing less than being the best at what we do.About the role:As a senior data engineer in the Data and Analytics team, you will take ownership of the design and build of end-to-end pipelines and workflows to ingest data from our CRM, revenue systems, and a large number of external data sources to power timely reporting and machine learning models. You will also develop integration pipes to embed AI models into production systems. You will be expected to mentor and support other team members, providing technical guidance and expertise.You will autonomously deliver ongoing business impact across the data engineering practice at LMG with cross-functional squads. You will have the opportunity to shape the foundations of data and ML frameworks at LMG to deliver data-driven decisions and AI solutions at scale to our customers. You will be working alongside talented data engineers, data scientists, and analysts in a collaborative team environment to deliver innovative solutions.This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office per week) that can be done from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth.Key responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable end-to-end data pipelines and MLOps frameworks.Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for data quality, pipeline health, and performance metrics.Develop and manage CICD processes for data pipelines and machine learning models.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions to drive value.Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior team members and guiding on model development and deployment.Act as a thought leader, communicating technical solutions to senior leadership and advocating for data engineering capabilities.Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring data privacy and security throughout projects.To succeed in this role you will bring with you:Bachelor''s degree or higher qualification in engineering, technology or quantitative discipline5+ years experience in data engineering with in-depth knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes and data integration techniques in cloud environments.Strong coding skills in python, shell scripting and SQLHands on experience in designing and implementing dbt pipelines, setting up monitoring and troubleshooting issuesExperience in setting up bespoke workflows and orchestration using cloud technologiesProficiency in GCP products (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage and Cloud Scheduler) is an added advantageExperience in CICD tools like Github or GitLab and sound understanding of DevOps best practicesExperience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutionsFlexibility & BalanceHybrid & Flexible Working6 Me Days: Extra leave to prioritise personal time.Religious & Cultural Swap Leave: Trade a public holiday for one thats meaningful to you.Extra Annual Leave: Need more time off?
