This role is responsible for managing a team of warehouse store personnel, ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining high inventory accuracy, implementing process improvements and fostering a positive working environment. This role provides strong leadership to motivate and guide the team in achieving performance targets and maintaining safety standards.Key Accountabilities (but not limited to):Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put away, and stock picking to ensure accuracy and smooth operationsManage and lead a team of warehouse store personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize their performanceAchieve Inventory Accuracy Rate (IRA) of 90% by conducting daily cycle counts and reconciliations across B1 and ground floor warehousesPlace warehouse orders twice a week, follow up backorders with alternatives and promptly share the relevant ETA information with inventory and prosthesis teamMaintain warehouse issue logbook on a daily basis and ensure the GRN is completed in the ERP system for each delivery in a timely mannerHandle internal customer inquiries and complaints related to warehouse activities and provide timely resolutionsKeep track of key performance indicators (KPIs) i.e. IRA and report on warehouse metrics to Supply Chain Manager on a regular basisAssist Supply Chain Manager to organize hospital half-yearly stocktakes and ensure a successful and smooth completionAbout UsMacquarie University Hospital is Australias first and only private not-for-profit teaching hospital on a university campus.
