And thats exactly what our team is dedicated to making a positive impact every single day.The opportunityYou will be responsible for providing both strategic and operational HR support across Warrigal, partnering with managers and staff to drive positive business and people outcomes. In this role, youll build strong, trusted relationships and offer sound, timely advice on a range of HR matters, including performance management, industrial relations, and the interpretation of employment legislation and Enterprise Agreements.Youll play a key role in supporting leaders through change management initiatives, guiding them through employee relations issues, and ensuring best practice principles are applied when managing investigations. Working closely with the Manager People & Culture Partnerships, the Employee Relations Manager, and the broader People & Culture team, youll drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support workforce planning, and contribute to a positive and high-performing culture. With a focus on continuous improvement, youll identify opportunities to enhance HR systems and processes while supporting organisational-wide people initiatives.Based onsite at Warrigal Central Oak Flats, with travel across the Southern Highlands, ACT, and Queanbeyan, this role offers variety, collaboration, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a values-driven organisation.This position is available on a 2-year fixed-term basis.What''s in it for you?A competitive base salary of $110k to $115k, depending on experience, plus super and ADO.Take advantage of Not-For-Profit salary packaging, allowing you to reduce your taxable income by up to $18,550 per year meaning more take-home pay for you.A rewarding 2-year contract with the opportunity to lead key people initiatives and shape a positive workplace culture.Flexible leave options, including career break opportunities and the ability to purchase additional leave.A strong focus on your professional growth, with ongoing learning and career development opportunities.Affordable access to your local gym and over 200 fitness facilities nationwide through the Fitness Passport program.Round-the-clock support for your mental, physical, social, and financial wellbeing with access to Employee Assistance Program.What were looking for:Must haves:A Bachelor''s degree or Graduate Certificate in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field, along with substantial experience in a similar position.Extensive expertise across various human resource functions.Strong ability to interpret and apply employment laws, deliver expert HR guidance, and uphold high standards in modern HR practices.Proven experience in industrial and employee relations, including handling grievances, conducting investigations, managing performance concerns, and providing counseling to employees. Also skilled in coaching and advising managers and supervisors on performance management and workforce-related issues.Exceptional relationship-building skills, coupled with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to HR challenges.Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution capabilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as negotiation expertise.Ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.Experience delivering client-centered HR services while successfully juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.A commitment to exceptional customer service and continuous process improvement.High attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.A valid NSW drivers license, with a willingness to travel to Warrigals other sites as needed.Nice to have:Familiarity with the aged care or community services industry.Experience in high-volume talent acquisition and recruitment.Background in return-to-work processes, health, and employee wellbeing initiatives.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.What our people love about working here:A supportive, passionate culture: Its a community filled with inspiring, big-hearted people.
