With six offices nationally and partner firms in more than 145 markets, wherever you want to go, we can take you there.About this roleWe are looking for a motivated Executive Assistant with a positive attitude to support the Grant Thornton Private Business Tax and Advisory (Private Advisory) team in Brisbane.You will provide maternity leave cover over a period of 9 months, with the possibility of an ongoing role. This is primarily an office-based role, offered on either a full-time (5 days per week) or part-time (4 days) basis.Key responsibilitiesDiary and calendar management for 3 senior leaders and client meeting support for their teamsCoordinate and manage travel and travel-related activitiesCoordinate client and team eventsDebtors / Fees prepare emails and send to clients to follow up outstanding debts; run WIP reports and supply listing summaries to Partners / ManagersExecute expenses, timesheets and invoicesFormatting of documents, presentations and preparing letters in line with GT brand guidelinesDatabase and system management update ATO Portal, MYOB, Salesforce and other toolsGeneral administrative duties such as electronic filing, scanning and document managementSupervision of a Team Assistant and coordination of administration team meetingsProactively anticipate needs and support required by the Partners and broader teamSkills and experienceAs an internal client-facing role, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential, as are a strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters.You are a curious individual who takes an interest in the business in which they work.A high level of initiative and the ability to anticipate and proactively support the needs of your stakeholders before and as they arise is a valuable skill that you will develop and utilise.RequiredPrevious experience in an Executive Assistant role, providing support to senior leaders and their teamInnovative, organised, and efficient able to bring new ideas and improvements to the tableStrong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skillsAble to easily learn new systems and technologiesExperience in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordCRM experience, such as Salesforce, highly regardedExperience in a Professional Services environment would be highly desirableIf youre interested in this role but dont feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.At Grant Thornton we do things differently because we understand that when you strive for better and care about what you do remarkable things are possible.
