In our pursuit for excellence, we encourage entrepreneurial thinking, challenge the status quo and inculcate a sense of ownership while fostering an environment of transparency, collaboration, respect and integrity among our employees, business partners and the larger community.Stamford Hotels and Resorts is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Adelaide HR Team that works across two hotels: the Stamford Plaza Adelaide and Stamford Grand Adelaide.The RoleThis is a generalist role with a wide range of responsibilities, which include recruitment, training & development, work health and safety, payroll and handling general HR administration. Your day-to-day activities will include:Monitor and maintain the internal HR systems, ensuring the timely processing of requests, escalating or providing support as required;Coordinate responses to the HR central email address;Coordinate staff training and development;Organising and actively participating in WHS Committee meetings;Assist with the workers compensation claims and return to work;Provide support on all HR transactional issues and administrative support;Provide general information regarding the application of HR company policies and practices;Providing support with the coordination of day-to-day operation of HR functions such as on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, recruitment and general HR administration.About youPrevious experience in a comparative role coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications;Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred;Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, good time-management and organisational ability plus a can-do attitude and hands-on approach;Knowledge of the Fair Work Act and employment law will be highly regarded;Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of employees and management.Culture and BenefitsAs a team member with us you can expect to receive:Leadership and career development;Dry cleaning for business attire;Free duty meals and car parking;The opportunity to work with industry professionals in an exciting hotel environment;An attractive food and beverage discount program.How to ApplyIf you live in Australia, have full-time working rights, and believe you have the drive and skills to succeed in this role, please click the ''Apply Now'' button.We thank you in advance for your interest in this position; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
