You will be responsible for ensuring the organisation and operation can anticipate, withstand, adapt to, and recover from disruptions. This role focuses on proactive strategies in preventing failures before they happen and ensuring readiness for unexpected events.Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Ensure operational and organisational continuity by identifying and mitigating risks and threats. The role involves developing policies for business continuity, incident and emergency planning, and establishing resilience metrics and performance standards.The successful candidate will be responsible for training and capability building, engaging and collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously monitoring, evaluating, and improving practices.About youWe are seeking a Resilience Prevention and Preparation Lead with a background in emergency management, business continuity or equivalent experience in resilience planning, risk management, or emergency preparedness. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and implementing resilience and preparedness strategies, as well as exposure to regulatory compliance and resilience frameworks. They should be adept at training, conducting exercises, and managing incidents.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with leadership skills and the ability to influence change.
