You will partner with leaders to support them in achieving departmental strategic initiatives. This role is a blend of strategic and operational, requiring a hands-on approach within the Operations business. As a member of the HR Team, you will work with the HR Manager and GM HR to implement local and global HR initiatives.Key Duties:Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing advice to support business outcomes and promote a positive work environment.Provide performance management and disciplinary training and support for managers and supervisors.Conduct investigations regarding employee conduct and recommend resolutions.Attend and contribute to strategy days and important team meetings.Champion HR initiatives and activities across Operations.Manage injured workers in collaboration with the Workers Compensation Manager.Assist hiring managers in recruitment processes, including hiring, onboarding, and probation review, in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Partner.Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in HR service delivery, ensuring innovative and consistent quality outcomes.Partner with GM HR and management to renegotiate Enterprise Agreements.About youTo be successful in this role you will have:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, and/or a related area, or equivalent experience partnered with formal studies.Experience in a Business Partnering role involving a blue-collar workforce.Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.Experience with unions.Ability to plan effectively and think ahead.Experience negotiating Enterprise Agreements.Experience in conflict management and conflict resolution for managers/leaders.Ability to develop, manage, and conduct training programs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to respond to common enquiries or complaints from employees or regulatory agencies.Ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis as required to our Revesby plant. #J-18808-Ljbffr
