Indiana Turner Racing based on the Gold Coast in Queensland is currently seeking an Apprentice to Relocate. The rider ideally would be in their second year/outridden their 4kg and looking to continue a positive trajectory in an area with plenty of opportunities available. You would be joining our Small/Med team working 21 Horses in a young and progressive environment on course at the Gold Coast.About The Role3:30 - 6:30/7:00 with 1hr-1.5hr each day to ride outside work/you will be introduced to trainers that we feel would also support you. (approx.)Monday to Saturday (Pending Schedule)Experience riding timed gallops, jump outs and educating young horses essential.Ability to ride 7 11 horses per morning.Opportunity to ride seasoned racehorses, along with well-educated young stock.Essential Criteria:Must have proven experience riding work.Be reliable and punctual.Excellent horse handling skills.Be able to work in a team and independently.Be empathetic to the role and animal.Who We Are? Were a small stable with 21 horses in work. Weve been operating for around a couple of years and looking to bolster our stock in terms of staff abilities and capabilities. Were a young and extremely hard-working crew and are looking to employ someone who takes pride in their work and wants our success to be theirs.What We Offer? The successful applicant will receive a Full-Time Salary exceeding the Standard Apprentice Wage depending on Experience.Extra Earning Potential & Accommodation?
