Our students engage in a number of outdoor activities in and around the local area and many are members of local sporting clubs and community groups.About the RoleApplicants will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support and will ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.Key roles and responsibilities:General cleaning duties - e.g. cleaning toilets, wiping down of surfaces, vacuuming, mopping.Must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job, including bending, lifting and cleaning across the campus.Requirements:Previous cleaning experience is preferable but not essential.We are looking for reliable, hardworking and trustworthy individuals who have good attention to detail, can work independently, and take pride in their work.Must have a Blue Card or be willing to obtain one.Competencies - demonstrates our core values on a daily basis:Works well as a single cleaner on a PM Shift: Thursday & FridayKindness - is polite and considerate of other team members, other staff members and studentsPersistence - shows stability and durability to complete the assigned tasksResilience - is motivated to work through difficultiesRespect - shows an understanding of inclusive practices and skills that align with DoE''s vision of Equity and ExcellenceResponsibility - be accountable for your own actionsAbility to work collegially & communicate with administration and the cleaner who works Monday - Wednesday PM shiftInterested?
