If vacancies matching your skills and experience arise, you may be contacted for further information.Casual Teacher$111.42 gross per hour (TAFE Queensland Educators Certified Agreement 2023)Teacher (full-time equivalent)$89,799 - $118,528 gross per annum (TAFE Queensland Educators Certified Agreement 2023)Mandatory Qualifications/RequirementsTeacher - AutomotiveApplicants must possess Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent, and the following:current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided.evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.current Queensland Drivers licence.Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials:TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools;TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or its successor;TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development;TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor;Higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland);Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.Highly DesirableCandidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:Additional qualifications in Automotive Electrical, Mobile Plant, Heavy Vehicle or MEM Fixed PlantHigh level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems).How to applyIf youre interested in this role, please use the Apply button to progress to the TAFE Queensland Recruitment Portal.
