(Please note opportunity for 24-month appointments may arise from this selection process)*Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time and casual vacancies.Location: Royal Hobart HospitalThe Resident Medical Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital (or rural facility). Provide after-hours emergency cover as determined by the relevant work unit.RHH offers 12-month RMO rotations in ED. The ED RMO rotation can be selected under the RHH training stream preferences section in this application form.General or unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia.Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role.The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a preemployment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
