Fun, friendly cultureRoll with us and make a differenceJob Description: Shift Supervisor at ZambreroZambrero is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Ipswich CBD location on Nicholas St. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that high quality standards are maintained and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during your shiftEnsure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are followedProvide training and support to team membersHandle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional mannerAssist with inventory management and ordering supplies as neededLeading the restaurant team in efficient day to day operationsBeing a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with the Zambrero values and cultureAssisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiencesAssisting with hiring new team members and on-boarding themAssisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews, and rostering staffEnsuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standardAssisting with ordering of stock from various suppliersAssisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policiesManaging daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurantAssisting with executing marketing promotionsEnsuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and SafetyRequirements:Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food industryExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong knowledge of food safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectivelyPrevious shift supervisor experiencePassionate about our humanitarian values and ready to make a differenceAbility to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleaguesAbility to maintain a professional, well-groomed and neat appearance at all timesAbility to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environmentWhat we offer:Contribute to fighting world hunger one plate at a timeGrow your career.
