We focus on early interventions that empower young people and strengthen communities.The Role:The Gifts in Wills Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the Bequests program at Youth Off The Streets. Strategic vision and a collaborative approach will be essential in growing and developing a robust Gifts in Wills pipeline, ensuring a donor-centric experience that aligns with our overarching fundraising and organisational goals.Key Responsibilities:Strategy Development: Assist in the strategic development of the Bequests program.Strategic Pipeline Development: Design and maintain a comprehensive Gifts in Wills pipeline, meticulously tracking known and unknown gifts, including pecuniary and residual gifts. Leverage this pipeline to develop and manage the program budget effectively.Moves Management Strategy: Create and implement a dynamic moves management strategy to guide prospective donors through the pipeline, from initial consideration to confirmed commitment.Collaborative Campaign Creation: Collaborate with the Direct Marketing Specialist to craft targeted campaigns aimed at identifying and qualifying potential bequest donors, ensuring a strategic and cohesive approach.Donor Relationship Management: Cultivate and steward meaningful relationships with donors, in person and via telephone and mail, ensuring they feel valued and connected to our mission, ultimately encouraging them to leave a gift in their will.Event Management: Organise and execute impactful events, such as morning teas, to engage and inspire potential bequest donors and to promote the bequests program, fostering a sense of community and commitment.Bequest Administration: Oversee all aspects of bequest administration, ensuring prompt and timely communication with executors or solicitors, completing necessary paperwork, and accurately tracking and recording probate documents, financial statements, realised gifts, and communication history in the database. Issue receipts for realised gifts efficiently.Prospect Research: Conduct research to identify potential prospects in the database.Analytics and Insights: Leverage analytics, research insights, and feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the bequests program.Reporting: Prepare and present reports that monitor the ongoing effectiveness of bequest activities.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Individual Giving team to achieve strategic objectives and meet team targets, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Campaign support: Provide campaign support to other fundraising portfolios as required, including Appeals, Regular Giving and Community Fundraising.Selection Criteria, includes but is not limited to:Fundraising Experience: Proven experience in a similar fundraising role, achieving income targets.Gifts in Wills Experience: Successful track record in coordinating a Gifts in Wills program.Relationship Building: Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining relationships with prospects and donors.Bequest Administration: Experience in handling bequest administration.Event Management: Proven success in planning and executing events.Fundraising Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Australian giving environment and best practice fundraising principles.Database Proficiency: Excellent knowledge and experience working with databases/CRMs.Blackbaud CRM: Experience in using Blackbaud CRM.Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.Skills and knowledge:Highly organised, with exceptional planning and time management skills to achieve objectives or complete projects.Ability to work as part of a team, prioritise requests and manage competing demands and set work priorities to meet deadlines.Exceptional attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Initiative and drive to improve ways of working and processes.Ability to work under high pressure situations and changing priority environments.Impeccable personal standards in representing YOTS.What we can offer you:A supportive team environment.Career progression and development pathways.EAP for yourself and your family.Salary packaging up to $15,900.Rewards and benefits program.To Apply:Please ensure you enclose a copy of your resume with your contact details and cover letter addressing the selection criteria (2 pages maximum).At Youth Off The Streets, diversity, equity and inclusion are part of our DNA.
