This pivotal role involves conducting detailed building inspections, preparing high-quality reports, and providing tailored consultancy services. You will also mentor junior consultants and manage large projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough building inspections to identify damage causes, whether from design faults, defective construction, or maintenance issues.Provide expert analysis on causation and remediation strategies.Prepare comprehensive forensic reports suitable for litigation, arbitration, and mediation.Develop detailed remedial Scopes of Work and tender documents.Monitor and report on repair works in line with approved Scopes of Work.Serve as an expert witness in courts or tribunals, including attending conclaves.Build and maintain strong client relationships through timely and professional communication.Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a culture of growth and expertise.Ensure efficient project management, balancing multiple assignments and delivering on client and financial outcomes.About YouTo thrive in this role, you will possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:Minimum of 8 years of experience in the building and construction industry, particularly in residential high-rise and low-rise projects.Proven expertise in defect analysis, water intrusion investigations, and preparing litigation-standard reports.Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and industry best practices.A degree or equivalent qualification in Building, Construction, or Engineering.Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.Strong time management, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenges.Professional demeanour and a commitment to delivering excellence.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.What We OfferCompetitive remuneration aligned with experience and expertise.Opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic team.A supportive and flexible working environment.How To ApplyIf you are a highly motivated professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you.
