Sedgman is currently in the process of recruiting for a Condition Monitoring Technician to join our Reliability team based in Mackay. This role will provide condition monitoring services of fixed plant rotating equipment across the Bowen Basin with regular site travel.The role will require but not be limited to:Collecting, analysing, and reporting Vibration and Thermography dataAnalysing & reporting on oil samplesCommunicating with lubrication technicians to enhance precision lubricationParticipating in equipment failure investigationsResearching and trialling new condition monitoring technologiesAbout you:Practical mechanical or electrical maintenance experience, ideally in CHPP or other processing plantsAn interest in reliability or condition monitoringKnowledge of condition monitoring techniques and lubrication principlesPractical fault-finding skillsStrong technical analysis skillsEffective report writing skillsAdvanced MS Office experienceSkills & Qualifications:MLA1 and TCAT1 preferredVibration analyst VCAT2 or ability to upgrade VCAT1 to VCAT2 within the next 6 monthsQLD Class C drivers licence, unrestricted (mandatory)Practical fault-finding skills, coupled with strong technical analysis & effective report writing skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamMore about the position:Monday to Friday position unless otherwise advisedWork vehicle provided for travel to sites in the Bowen Basin as requiredOngoing training and professional development providedWhat we can offer you:Flexible arrangements to help you achieve work-life balanceA collaborative focus on continuous improvement and innovation in our safety culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
