Account Director Brand & Retail ExperiencePosted: 19/02/2025Closing Date: 19/03/2025Job Type: ContractLocation: SydneyJob Category: Retail Experience,Retail OperationsPrimary FunctionThe Account Director will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Retail in the ongoing strategic development, execution and management of Brand, Retail Experience and Promotional CampaignsJob DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:Oversee brand and event project management and businessInitiate project with client briefing and organise team internally and with suppliersManage concept and designs development end to end, including presentation to the clientNegotiate scope and cost with client (supported by directors)Manage projects with regard to cost management, planning, concept, design, technical, procurement, production, logistics, and maintenance/operation aspectsManage Team Financials, including forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and time trackingOversee management events, including venue and any promotional requirements (including operations and logistics)Liaise with clients and account team to establish program requirements and objectives, including obtaining briefs for retail, brand and experiential projectsEnsure a tactical plan for business growth with retail and experiential capability is in place for all clientsManage all direct reports and resource allocationManage and maintain a strategic overview of accounts, and proactively advise client on new issues and resolution optionsActively contribute to client marketing strategy and thinkingRaise issues or concerns with the client in a timely manner, following through to resolutionDemonstrate innovation and creativity beyond client ideasStrategically lead project-related work, including process and schedule managementEnsure all agreed client Key Performance Indicators are achieved throughout the year.Desired Skills and ExperienceQualifications and Experience:At least 8 years + previous experiential project management experience within a marketing agency or team (preferred)Strong marketing planning and execution knowledgeStrong knowledge and expertise in project management for brand experience & eventsExperience in managing planning, concept, production, logistics, staffing, and operations, for event projectsExceptional local knowledge of event management in AustraliaStrong financial competencies and commercial acumenStrong motivation for business developmentPersonal Attributes:Outgoing, energetic and positive attitudeHigh levels of diplomacyExperience working within a fast paced, high volume agency environmentComfortable with challenging briefsAbility to prioritise multiple tasks at onceExcellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
