Welcome to Bar Morris, the intimate 40-seat casual wine bar that redefines the drinking and dining experience.Job DescriptionABOUT YOUMinimum 5 years experience in a la carte diningMinimum 2 years experience in a leadership roleAssociated qualification AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring high attention to detail.A team player & leader with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach.Passion for hospitality & the pursuit for more knowledgeSound knowledge of HACCP requirements.Available to work across a flexible, rotating roster including evenings and weekends.Full unrestricted Australian work rights, Working Holiday can be accepted.Your tasks include:Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food suppliesMonitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationDiscussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staffDemonstrating techniques and advising on cooking proceduresPreparing and cooking foodExplaining and enforcing hygiene regulationsHiring and training staffJoin our team and be part of a thriving hospitality group that values its employees and is committed to delivering excellence.
