Specialist PC&G | HR Business Partner | Global Icon | Dynamic TeamSydney NSW, AustraliaPosted Tuesday 18 February 2025 at 5:00 amBridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA) is a market leader in the OTR (Off the Road) Tyre industry and is renowned for its global reputation for quality products, continuous improvement & cutting-edge application of technology.Otraco (a subsidiary of BMSA) is a world leading provider of Earthmover and Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry.We are currently seeking an effectiveSpecialist People Culture & Governance to work across both businesses out of ournew BMSA Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park NSW.Reporting through to the Manager Human Resources & Governance, the role is focused on the provision of proactive HR generalist advice and guidance to managers, providing appropriate and timely ER / IR support and equipping leaders with the right skills, tools and information to efficiently and effectively manage their workforce across appropriate HR disciplines. This role is accessible for first call advice and involvement in a range of human resources issues.The BenefitsCareer development within the global Bridgestone business5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employmentAn extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5 year employment milestoneFree on-site gym and end of journey facilitiesHealth checks / free flu shotsProduct discounts on Bridgestone TyresAdditional benefits & staff discountsThe OpportunityPermanent full time roleCoach and mentor PC&G team members as well as managers in the application of HR systems and processes.Actively support managers to create Succession plans for business critical roles in their teams, and ensure consistency across the business.Work closely with the Safety Team and leaders in managing workers compensation & injury management cases and where appropriate, identify and facilitate appropriate solutions.Act as a point of escalation for PC&G team in resolving payroll issues, STI and salary reviews and processing.Provide support to managers with performance management, restructuring, terminations, restructuring and redundancies.Represent the Company in matters at Fair Work Commission e.g. disputes, medication etc.Provide high-level support around conflict resolution, complaint investigation and resolution, award & legislation interpretation.Work with Manager PC & Governance to develop robust HR Dashboard of key people metrics such as headcount, leave liability, absenteeism, turnover etc.Work with Manager to ensure effective implementation of HRIS system across the business.About You - EssentialRelevant HR technical qualifications at tertiary levelExperience working in a similar senior HR influencing roleExperience representing their organisation at the Fair Work Commission.Demonstrated ability in building an effective value add HR service to the businessDemonstrated background in effective coaching & mentoring of managers and leaders.Problem solver not just a problem identifierWillingness for infrequent interstate travel when requiredCurrent work rights in AustraliaAbout You PreferredExperience in implementation of an HRIS systemExperience in human resources within mining, heavy industry or related industriesApply today to take your career onwards! #J-18808-Ljbffr
