In this role, you''ll be responsible for general repairs and maintenance across our local stores, as well as the upkeep of facilities, equipment, and grounds at Lorna Jane Head Office in Eagle Farm.What Youll be doingAs our Handyperson youll:Provide maintenance and upkeep to Lorna Jane Head Office and Lorna Janes local retail stores.Identify and report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Manager, implementing preventative measures to keep essential services operational.Assess and repair wear and tear on office and warehouse equipment, furnishings, and fixtures.Perform minor building repairs and coordinate external trades when required.Maintain accurate records of repairs, equipment, and store maintenance history.Ensure company vehicles are cleaned and maintained to reflect Lorna Janes brand standards.Oversee the upkeep of grounds, including landscaping and signage maintenance.Manage stock levels of maintenance supplies and ensure necessary materials are available.Source and deliver building materials, tools, and other items as needed.Support the Retail Development Team by preparing and collecting materials and equipment for new store openings and refurbishments.Who Were Looking ForWere seeking someone who has:Valid Drivers LicenceForklift Licence is desirableWillingness to travel interstate when requiredStrong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety regulations, including fire safety requirementsExperience operating hand tools, power tools, and maintenance machinery safely and efficientlyTrade qualification in cabinetmaking, carpentry, or a related field (highly regarded).Excellent communication skills, with a professional and respectful approach.Willing to attend training courses for further skill developmentOur Commitment to youAt Lorna Jane, were committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and included.
