Please continue reading and apply if interested!Position Summary:Oversee the order process, develop commodity strategies, and manage inventory.Duties and Responsibilities:Procure parts and materials, develop suppliers, conduct competitive bidding, manage inventory, implement engineering changes, and negotiate supplier agreements.Identify and develop suppliers.Conduct competitive bidding and analyze results.Manage and maintain supplier agreements.Procure hard-to-find components.Initiate disposal activities for excess inventory.Requirements:3-5 years of purchasing and supply chain experience.Bachelors degree or equivalent in business or supply chain, or 5 years of purchasing experience.Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables base minimum).Experience working in ERP/MRP systems.BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering preferred.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to lead projects and implement lean activities.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Worksite Type:Fully onsite.Pay:$28.00-30.50/hrSeniority Level:AssociateEmployment Type:Full-timeJob Function:Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply ChainIndustries:Manufacturing, Machinery Manufacturing, and Engines and Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
