Our day-to-day is made stronger when we surround ourselves with people who are different, like you.Your RoleThe key areas of accountability in the role are:Act as a liaison between technical teams and business/end users, by translating technical terminology through simple oral and visual techniques and tools.Deliver high-quality user stories, business, functional, and non-functional requirements.Support in defining acceptance criteria and complete acceptance criteria testing/verification.Triage and estimate business analysis and acceptance testing effort.Champion the Business Analysis capability within the organization, as well as work in partnership with design and product functions.Requirements Gathering:Elicit requirements and perform analysis of business processes, documenting as-is and future state business processes.Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit analysis and validate business processes, systems, and requirements.Deliver high-quality user stories, business, functional, and non-functional requirements.Assist the Product Manager (PM) in translating business requirements into clear, concise, testable, and accurate user stories & process flows.Assist PM in ensuring that requirements are understood through thorough story kick-offs and constant communication using various analysis and documentation techniques, including the application of visualization techniques to underpin joint understanding of processes and data.Assist PM in refining tickets and user stories so they are ready for development.Assist PM in communicating any requirement dependencies, issues, or risks identified through the analysis process.Assist PM in contributing to the team''s understanding and prioritization during planning meetings and retrospectives.Assist PM in contributing to Showcases.Assist PM in participating in estimation sessions by describing the requirements and clarifying any questions raised.Planning:Plan the business and test analysis effort, determining how requirements will be managed, and ensuring deliverables meet quality and governance standards.Alongside the Quality Analyst, develop test scripts utilizing comprehensive business requirements, functional documentation, and processes.Coordinate execution of test scripts with the delivery team.Collaboration / Stakeholder Management:Experiment with and develop new ways to present requirements and ideas.Communicate constantly with stakeholders, team members, and other people throughout the company; facilitate and participate in team stand-ups, retrospectives & iteration planning sessions; communicate any requirement dependencies, issues, or risks identified through the analysis process.Participate in vendor engagement.Communicate and influence project stakeholders.Pair with the Product Manager to ensure challenges, prioritization, and project scope are managed.Community of Practice:Significantly contribute to the flybuys BA community, driving the evolution of our BA practice by mentoring/coaching junior-mid level BAs in the team.Lead Showcases, guiding junior/mid-level BAs in their showcase contributions.Your ExperienceDemonstrated experience delivering Business Analysis artifacts aligned to BABOK and Agile methodologies (8+ years Business Analysis experience).The ability to work with dispersed and diverse agile technology teams to deliver continuous value for our members.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing key stakeholders.A demonstrated understanding and facilitation of agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Continuous Delivery.Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.Strong working knowledge of relevant delivery applications (e.g., BPM tools, Office suite, Jira/Confluence).Strong flexibility with the ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system, and transformational change.Experience or the ability to mentor junior and other Business Analysts where applicable.Industry certification in Agile and Business Analysis (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe, CBAP).Your Benefits!We offer our valued team members a stack of exclusive benefits!
