6 month daily rate contract role with likely extensionWork with a reputable Australian brand to deliver various data initiatives to business stakeholdersHybrid working model with a collaborative working cultureOur client is a leading brand within the Australian market and they are seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst to join their team. Reporting into the Analytics Manager, this role will work within a centralised data function and will require an individual who has a background in data development and has transitioned into a business-facing role.Key ResponsibilitiesWork across a range of initiatives, from small tasks of low complexity to large-scale, enterprise-wide programs.Engage with business and technology stakeholders, taking initiative and responsibility in driving outcomes.Collaborate with onshore and offshore data teams, architecture, privacy, cybersecurity, and business users.Manage stakeholder expectations, build strong relationships, and ensure timely delivery of work.Analyze, curate, and model data, applying Fact-Dimensional modelling techniques.Develop small Proof of Concepts (POCs), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and prototypes to validate concepts and refine business requirements.Key Skills & ExperienceStrong technical background in working with data, including querying, curation, and analysis.Experience in data modeling, particularly Fact-Dimensional models.Ability to prototype and test data models pre- and post-implementation.Proactive and adaptable, able to work with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a dynamic enterprise environment.Comfortable multi-tasking and taking on new challenges.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with Snowflake and dbt is highly desirable.You will need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident to be considered for this role.If this position is of interest to you, please click Apply or you can just send your details to raed@konnexuscg.com.au or call Raed on 0432 08 5020.Konnexus specialise in the recruitment of permanent and contract professionals within Data Analytics | Business Intelligence | AI | Machine Learning.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
