As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work in IT and play a critical role in driving the requirements elicitation and documentation, solution design, and ongoing support of technical as well as business solutions for a range of exciting new initiatives at Zurichs Digital Platform team.Your responsibilities will include:Elicit detailed requirements by conducting interviews, workshops, and other techniques that are appropriate to each specific situation.Capable of writing detailed technical functional specifications as well as user stories.Be the bridge between the business and IT, defining and documenting business as well as technical requirements.Work closely with SMEs, architects, and developers to design solutions that are customer-centric, intuitive, and cost-effective.Effectively handle additional changes through negotiations and prioritizations.Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, identify opportunities, explore and define alternative options, and make recommendations.Manage other BA activities such as gap analysis, impact analysis, estimation, documenting as is and to be, production handovers as well as supporting SIT, UAT, and PVT.Your skills and experienceAs a Tech BA specializing in Insurance, you will have extensive experience in domain knowledge such as Life insurance, superannuation, and in particular, customer communications. You will demonstrate expert knowledge in designing and implementing customer-centric solutions for effective communications.You will also have:Multiple years of experience in the Insurance industry as a Technical Business Analyst.Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements for systems such as Mulesoft, Salesforce, and mainframe (COBOL) is highly regarded. Please note this role requires a technical background to define requirements at a system level.Proven experience working in an agile (scrum, kanban, etc.) and fast-paced environment.Solid experience in using JIRA, Confluence, Visio, etc.Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.Embrace changes with a can do attitude, stay flexible and ready for working in a fast-paced environment.
