We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver to join our team at our Rosehill plant.18th February, 2025James Hardie Industries is the worlds #1 producer and marketer of high-performance fibre cement and fibre gypsum building solutions.Proudly providing Australian Made fibre cement to the market for over 100 years.As a local manufacturer, trusted innovator, and industry leader, James Hardie empowers homeowners and trade professionals to achieve dream modern homes with premium quality solutions that deliver endless design possibilities, trusted protection, and long-lasting beauty.Here at James Hardie, we are committed to achieving high standards in safety ZERO HARM, quality, and machine efficiency within our manufacturing plants.The Opportunity:As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for complying with the mobile plant site rules, including daily Forklift Pre-start checklists, and maintaining the machine line to ensure operations are not affected.You will hold a current valid Forklift License with at least 12 months of experience and be open to the opportunity to be trained and upskilled as a Machine Operator.You will be open to work across the below shift pattern; please note, shift patterns are subject to change.Day & Night shifts available: 4am - 12.30pm, 5am - 1.30pm, 6.30am - 3.30pm, or 11am 7pm.What the role involves:Loading and unloading of stock and putting stock awayForklift pre-start checklist dailyPlacing gluts onto packs to assist in the loadingSorting through damaged stocksHigh attention to detail as you will be rearranging leaning stacks and auditing stack heightEnsure that quality standards are met in accordance with Product SpecificationAccurately record and maintain data on relevant reports/formsCollect relevant reject samples from production runsManual handling of up to 20kgsWhat you will need:Hold a valid Drivers License and own vehicleDemonstrate knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplaceBe open and willing to do manual labouring around the plant as requiredExcellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal & communication skillsManufacturing & warehouse background experience highly regardedBenefits working @ James Hardie:Bonus scheme for all eligible employeesProduct discounts2 Volunteer days per yearPlenty of employee rewards and benefits including a rewards and recognition programOnline shopping discountsAccess to thousands of free self-development modules via James Hardie UniversityFree annual health checksEmployee Assistance Program access for you & your immediate family membersHassle-free, no cost, and confidential access to our onsite psychologists & physiotherapists (specific sites)Apply For Job #J-18808-Ljbffr
