THE NGO INTERNATIONAL FILM & KNOWLEDGE FORUM is a unique platform that celebrates the use of solution films and storytelling to address pressing global challenges, foster dialogue, and inspire change in the international development ecosystem.JOB PURPOSEWe are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This is a 4 months voluntary position and in this role, the job holder will be responsible for managing our digital platforms, including the website, social media accounts, email and other dissemination channels.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the forum director to align on communication strategies and establish a clear vision for content production.Design and implement the communication strategy across all media channels.Create diverse media content such as reports, case studies, success and field stories, videos, photos, and other materials for public dissemination to enhance awareness of our work.Develop and maintain marketing materials and documentation to support fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and program initiatives.Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build partnerships programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.Prepare detailed media activity reports and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies.Collaborate with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies.Supervise projects to ensure all content is publication-ready.Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.Lead the marketing and public relations staff.Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEA Masters degree in Mass Communication / Journalism or other related fields.35 years of working experience in Communications or Marketing departments.Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills.Software Skills Desired WordPress, MailChimp or similar email service provider; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other CMS tools.Ability to manage time, deliverables and meet deadlines.Kindly note that this is a volunteer position for a duration of 4 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time contract thereafter.
