To take the next step in our start-up journey, we are seeking a General Manager to lead our team and community to success. This person should have experience in overseeing business operations in a not-for-profit and/or Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.Objectives of this roleImplement a strategic plan for optimised productivityDevelop and manage the three key streams of our business: First Nations Family Dispute Resolution, Domestic Violence, and NDIS servicesReview and improve organisational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changesAdhere to business standards for excellence and qualitySeek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships and identifying grant opportunitiesProvide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areasResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals, and ensure their completionRecruit, onboard, and support a small team to achieve their objectives to ensure compliance with grant requirementsWork with our accountant to ensure employee pays are processed on a fortnightly basisDevelop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plansMaintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectivelyDelegate responsibilities and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural valuesResolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involvedProvide regular reports to the Board of Directors and relevant funding bodiesRequired skills and qualificationsProven success in a managerial roleAbility to provide reports to relevant funding bodiesExcellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skillsProven ability to develop and achieve financial plans and budgetsAbility to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountableThe ideal candidate will also have experience with the NDISProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) #J-18808-Ljbffr
