On behalf of Council, LesterBlades is delighted to invite applications for the position ofChief Executive Officer.Working closely with the Mayor and Elected Members, theCEOs key accountabilities include:Implementing Councils directions consistent with the Strategic Community Plan, Long-Term Financial Plan, Annual Budget, and Capital Works Programs.Ensuring Councils human, physical and financial resources are effectively managed.Providing services efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs and Council requirements.Providing organisational leadership that promotes a high performing workplace culture.Administering the Citys legal, statutory, risk and compliance obligations.Councils expectation is that the next CEO will alreadypossess the full suite of competencies and the high-level executiveexperience required to be successful in a position such as this. Akey focus area for the CEO will be leading a range of economicdevelopment initiatives, as well as high level engagement with arange of important strategic stakeholders.
