OverviewThis 6-month contractual role will provide multi-sector management accounting support for the Singapore plant, supporting the fast-growing Asia Pacific markets and NAB Gatorade US.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and Transaction ProcessingEnsure integrity of all processes that directly and indirectly support financial reporting throughout all Singapore Legal Entities.Develop and implement best practice tools which improve accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of financial transaction processing & reporting. Participation in continuous improvement events and workshops. Provide guidance in the development of controls and testing.Risk Control Management for all cycles is maintained and up-to-date. All control and process owners are familiar with key processes and controls for them. Training is provided for all new control and process owners. Update workshops for existing control & process owners are provided.Monitor financial controls to ensure integrity of supply chain and accurate interface of financial data within the supply chain. Ensure quarterly walk-through of controls and report results along with the quarter rep letter package.Implement improvements to the control environment to maintain PepsiCo Standards. Analyze business processes particularly in the event of a significant business or system change and work with process owners to develop controls and assign control owners.Financial Compliance LeadResponsible for Sox testing coordination and reporting.Lead the Control Agenda to drive the effectiveness of all processes.GCS Implementation.Inventory Controls.GAAP Compliance.New Sox Controls.Policies and Procedures.Liaise with external auditors in support of their requirements.Ensure compliance with all applicable PepsiCo, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards.Manage Singapore GST for 2 Legal Entities:CMSPL & CHUPL under Group GST.Setup and maintain VAT report in SAP when required.Lead Major Export Scheme audit on-site.Lead Trainer for GST in Singapore site.Lead GST projects.Manage Financial Reporting & Statutory Accounts Preparations for 2 Singapore Legal Entities:Handle auditors'' queries.Statutory accounts review and preparations.Review Financial Statements.Preparation of Company Taxation & Transfer pricing.Responsible for global tax initiatives such as Pillar 2.Attend to IRAS audits.Responsible for Statutory surveys.External Collaborations with Economic Development Board Singapore:Innovation Development Scheme.Prompt submission of progressive claims to EDB.Manage Pioneer Incentive queries from Singapore Tax Authorities (IRAS).Work closely with Corporate Tax on a regular basis to identify non-qualifying activity (Vendor directs) and EDB to seek alignment to ensure compliance with conditions.Month End Tasks:Handle month-end payroll validation and journal posting.Preparation of non-Trade Intercompany billing.Lease accounting.Balance sheet reconciliation via blackline module.QualificationsProfessionally qualified accountant with 5+ Years PQE in a high-volume multinational manufacturing environment.Clear understanding of Singapore Local regulatory and compliance requirements.Track record of academic success and career progression.Committed to quality with the drive and determination to fulfill objectives within tight deadlines.Ability to identify issues on a timely basis, identify an action plan to resolve issues, and influence others to implement the action plan.Initiative and a high degree of self-motivation.Ability to manage conflicting/changing priorities and deliver on key priorities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to and influence co-workers (both financial and non-financial) across various departments and all levels of the organization.Excellent Excel skills are a necessity.Systems literate with SAP (or equivalent ERP system) experience is an advantage.Ability to participate in a high-performing team environment.Leadership mindset in driving objectives across multi-functions and all levels.High level of self-independence in execution of deliverables and ownership of assigned responsibilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
