In this key role, you will provide leadership in acquiring and managing library collections across various formats, ensuring compliance with university procurement policies and audit requirements. As a trusted advisor to the Director, you will offer insights on emerging technologies, standards, and technical matters related to acquisitions, licensing, and access to electronic and traditional resources. Leading important projects and continuous improvement initiatives, you will help enhance access to knowledge resources for our academic community.You willlead the acquisition and management of library resources, ensuring a rich and accessible collection;oversee procurement, vendor partnerships, and license negotiations in line with university policies;enhance Course Readings and Resource Sharing, balancing compliance with academic needs;guide collection management, from evaluating donations to refining resources for long-term sustainability.About youYou''re a forward-thinking leader with a passion for making knowledge accessible.
