This role will be based in our Altona North location in Melbourne.About you:You will have a proven Technical and/or Logistics background either in marine, mining, defence or relevant equipment/manufacturing/distribution industries, specialising in project management & delivery. Wide technical and customer service experience with minimum 5 years'' is highly preferable. Customer and OEM relationship management & technical proficiency skills will be highly regarded.Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint.Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Well-developed project and change management skills; formal project management certification is highly desirable.Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle within a contracting environment.High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work autonomously in a multi-team environment.Eligible for Baseline Defence Department Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required); dual citizenship may impact suitability due to ITAR/EAR regulations.Understanding of Defence culture; ex-Army, Navy or Air Force personnel with technical, mechanical, logistics, or project management background are encouraged to apply.Ability to process and manage large documents within a contracting environment.Responsibilities will include:Management, analysis and reporting of Project Performance (Customer and OEM) and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate the planning of service deliveries and resources required to meet project and contractual requirements and deliverables.Liaise with Defence customer maintenance administrators to support and deliver Defence repair order works utilizing the National Penske network.Monitor financial performance objectives of the projects contracting construct, review and monitor progress of deliverables both hardware and non-hardware in accordance with the contracted milestones.Liaising with OEMs and other stakeholders, including sub-suppliers to deliver the contracted scope of supplies through Penske''s in-country capability.Develop and implement processes to ensure sustained project delivery of services to exciting new Defence platforms.Ability to undertake regular Interstate and some international travel will be required.About Us:Penske Australia is the go-to destination for diesel and gas engines, power systems & heavy vehicles.
