We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Office Administrator to join our team in a positive and supportive workplace environment. This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including payroll processing, accounts management, and general office support. If you have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping and Financial Management: Use MYOB to manage detailed financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports.Payroll: Calculating employee wages, withholding taxes, and ensuring accurate payroll processing, including issuing pay checks and managing deductions.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate physical and electronic records for all company financial transactions, employee documents, and general office paperwork.Invoicing and Payments: Manage invoicing, process payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain a positive cash flow.Administrative support: Provide executive-level administrative support to business owners, assist with HR duties like staff onboarding and leave management, answer phone calls, manage correspondence, maintain office supplies, handle petty cash, and carry out daily tasks such as processing mail, banking, and running errands.Qualifications:Proven experience in office administration, payroll, or accounting-related roles.Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MYOB.Excellent communication and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to perform multiple tasks efficiently and perform well in high-pressure situations.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in accounting, administration, or payroll processing will be advantageous.Why Join Us?At Mellick Centre, we offer a positive and supportive work environment where employees are valued and encouraged to grow.
