Imagine Rural - Southern NSW Local Health District.What You''ll Be DoingLead the provision of a comprehensive communications function including the planning, development and implementation of internal and external corporate marketing and publications activities and provision of strategic communications advice, to support the achievement of LHD objectives and to ensure SNSWLHD presents as a professional, integrated organisation.Selection CriteriaA degree in communications, journalism and marketing (or related field), or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience. Demonstrate your extensive work experience in the field.Proven experience at a senior level in a major public or private sector organisation in the management of media relations, communications, community consultation and/or marketing, including responsive crisis communications management.Demonstrated ability to research and analyse complex public health using issues using critical thinking skills to source, filter and provide rapid and credible communications and advice.Demonstrated exceptional writing and digital content creation abilities across a range of mediums and contemporary platforms for a variety of audiences.Demonstrated ability in contributing to and implementing communications strategies and initiatives in crisis situations.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a small team and produce results within tight time frames.Demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with senior technical professionals, the media, interest groups, community groups and senior executives or government agencies.Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.
