This program provides relief to people experiencing poverty and disadvantage from Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste, by providing employment opportunities with Australian employers in selected industries/sectors.It also has the dual benefit of providing employers with a reliable return workforce sourced to assist in meeting unmet labour demands, when there is not enough local Australian labour to meet seasonal demand.About the RoleYou will oversee our current accounts predominantly in the horticulture sector, and strengthen our presence in the region by building our client base and diversification into new industries and sectors.You will be responsible for:Maintaining and strengthening client relationships ensuring client business objectives are understood and met;Placing suitable applicants into employment opportunities;Sourcing accommodation solutions for workers;Sourcing new host employers and using your networking and communication skills to increase our client base;Conducting induction of workers to Australia and the local work environment in partnership with the client;Providing ongoing support and assistance to our Seasonal Worker Program participants;Providing leadership to a worker liaison officer who will assist in addressing worker welfare and needs;Assisting visiting workers with integration into the local community and the local laws and way of life;Identifying and managing all risks associated with the labour hire relationship with your clients.This role may be offered as FT or PT and requires someone who has the ability to develop strong, client-focused relationships. You will thrive on nurturing client networks and have the ability to quickly build strong rapport with key stakeholders. You are a problem solver with a focus on client-centered solutions and enjoy supporting workers to ensure they are successful in their employment. Experience in the labour hire industry is also highly regarded.This position is not your typical 9am - 5pm role so the successful applicant will need to be flexible with their working hours.
