The Junior Claims Adjuster will be responsible for the management of allocated claims, data entry on Graile and any other TPA system, producing claims histories, policy documentation, claims correspondence and assisting with managing electronic communications between service providers (lawyers and loss adjusters), brokers, insureds and interested third parties. Managing workflows in accordance with clearly documented procedures contained in the claims handling manual.Key responsibilities.Process new claims/notificationsManagement of short tail claimsInstruct legal service providers and loss adjustersProduce policy documents & generate claims historiesComplete outstanding reminders and peer reviewsEnter and process claims payments once approvedManage claims reporting as requested by the Team LeaderManage via Excel spreadsheetsThe Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:Tertiary qualificationProven Administration and/or Operations skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving skillsUnderstanding of the importance of:acting within authority, guidelines policies and procedures; andrequirements of corporate auditing principles and processesDesired:Experience in an insurance claims department or legal experience highly regardedLegal qualifications highly regarded #J-18808-Ljbffr
