Your role will involve proactively identifying, nurturing, and creating new sales opportunities. This is accomplished by a blend of inbound and outbound initiatives.At Elastic, we care about the quality of the interactions that you have with our users and believe in disciplined and programmatic engagement with prospects. You will develop and foster a wide range of technical, analytical, and sales skills that will lay the foundation for your future. Our goal is to set you up for success as an SDR while providing opportunities for you to grow and advance your career at Elastic.What You Will Be Doing:As an SDR organisation we spend most of our time working to help Elastic users make the most of our offerings. Your responsibilities will include:Collaborate with sales, marketing and our partner team to develop new strategies to build our sales pipeline and grow our businessBalance the reactive work of responding to interested users with a creative and proactive approach to identify new opportunitiesUse Salesforce, Marketo, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools to research accounts, identify key contacts and craft targeted messagingLearn our technology and optimally communicate our value proposition with a technical audience. Work to understand their goals and challenges to better understand how we can helpWhat You Bring Along:There isnt a cookie-cutter mold for who we hire, but there are some common qualities each member of our hard-working team possesses:2 years of experience in managing sales (similar profile of SDR/BDR/ Inside sales/ Sales)Open to feedback, genuinely curious and constantly looking for ways to learn and improveGenuine love of technology, with the ability to learn and communicate complex technical concepts - Dont worry, well give you a lot of resources!Comfortable with Tele coverage - this is the path to success!Have an understanding of OUTREACH ( or similar platform) to build engagement sequences with prospects ( Tele, Email )Experience in Inbound and Outbound customer engagementsHitting your monthly targets by being results oriented and focussed on achieving, through self discipline, creativity and passionAdditional Information - We Take Care of Our PeopleAs a distributed company, diversity drives our identity.
