At voco Gosford, well cater to both business and leisure guests, as well as provide a swanky new destination for locals to meet.Were looking for a dedicated Executive Housekeeper to uphold our high standards, overseeing all aspects of housekeeping to ensure each guest enjoys a memorable and exceptional experience with every stay.Our Executive Housekeeper will oversee the daily housekeeping operations of the hotel whilst leading and mentoring their skilled and dedicated team.This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join our team during the pre-opening phase of a new hotel, that will look to be the changing face of the Central Coast. Our Executive Housekeeper will play a pivotal role in managing the pre-opening functions for their department, ensuring every detail is carefully executed to guarantee a seamless opening and outstanding guest experience from day one.[daytoday]Every day is different, but youll mostly be:Managing, coaching, and developing a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping standardsHandling complaints and special requests to keep every guest happyChecking that public areas, rooms, suites, equipment, and linen exceed guest expectationsAssisting with deep cleaning projects and occasionally assisting your team during busy periodsEducating all team members on the importance of remaining compliant with federal, state, and local laws and safety standardsMaintaining inventory levels, preparing budgets, and driving productivityMaintaining and ordering supplies and equipment while minimising waste in support of our green initiativesHelping to refine and prepare budgets that help us maximise profitabilityAddressing special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIP Club members[requirements]Bachelor''s Degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in hospitality or related fieldMust be able to speak local language(s).Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skillsDirect supervisory experience over a Housekeeping/catering team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience4+ years total experience in a Housekeeping/catering setting or related field[benefits]We give our people everything they need to succeed.
